ELab Launches the Vietnam Open Innovation Readiness Report 2026
How ready are Vietnamese enterprises to collaborate with universities, adopt emerging technologies, and bring ressearch outcomes into the market?
To answer this question, ELab at VinUniversity has collaborated with BK Holdings, Swiss EP, and Clime Capital to develop the Vietnam Open Innovation Readiness Report 2026 – a report that captures the current state of enterprise readiness for innovation collaboration and technology commercialization in Vietnam.
The report provides a comprehensive picture of how businesses approach innovation, including their capabilities, priorities, collaboration models, investment readiness, and barriers to adopting research-driven solutions. More importantly, it highlights where opportunities exist for stronger partnerships between industry, universities, startups, and the broader innovation ecosystem.
As Vietnam accelerates its transition toward a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy, understanding the demand side of commercialization becomes just as important as strengthening the supply of research and technology. This report aims to provide evidence-based insights for corporate leaders, researchers, policymakers, investors, and innovation intermediaries seeking to build more effective pathways from research to real-world impact.
The Vietnam Open Innovation Readiness Report is expected to become an annual reference that tracks the evolution of enterprise readiness while informing future strategies for open innovation and technology commercialization across Vietnam.
We would like to thank our partners – BK Holdings, Swiss EP, and Clime Capital – for their valuable collaboration in making this initiative possible.
